Quail’s Design & Selection Resources

Meet our in-house interior designer
Nicole Knight

Nicole grew up in design build atmosphere- her Grandfather was an architect, and her father was a vocational teacher for Mark Morris Highschool and every summer there was some sort of home remodeling project to work on.   Nicole went to Washington State University and earned a BA in Interior Design, LEED Green Associate, and Sustainable Homes Professional accreditations.

Nicole helps clients find their individual look in an organized and fun manner. Then organizes documentation to convey those special design details to keep the field running smoothly.

Outside of Quail- Nicole is remodeling her own home (purchased from her architect Grandfather), knitting, sewing, baking, walking her dogs, or having a nice cup of coffee with her husband.

Designing your home should feel exciting—not overwhelming

In this video, our in-house interior designer, Nicole, walks you through our selections process from start to finish. From your very first meeting to finalizing your selections before construction begins, we break down each step, so you know exactly what to expect. You’ll learn how we guide you through choosing finishes, layouts, and details that reflect your style—while keeping everything organized, efficient, and aligned with your build timeline.

At Quail, our goal is to make the design experience smooth, collaborative, and enjoyable—so you can feel confident in every decision along the way.

Design Survey

At the start of your selections journey, our designer will send you a design survey. This helps her get to know your style, preferences, and vision for your home. Using your responses, she thoughtfully curates options for your design meetings—making the process more efficient, inspiring, and tailored specifically to you.
